Chinese Government Scholarship Application 2021/2022

The 2020/2021 Chinese Government Scholarship Application is now open for application. Online application (www.campuschina.org) should be submitted no later than February 19 2021.

Eligibility: To be eligible, applicants must

– be a citizen of a rustic aside from the People’s Republic of China, and be in healthiness.

– be a highschool graduate under the age of 25 when applying for undergraduate programs;

– be a baccalaureate holder under the age of 35 when applying for master’s programs;

– be an academic degree holder under the age of 40 when applying for doctoral programs;

– be under the age of 45 and have completed a minimum of two years of undergraduate study when applying for general scholar programs;

– be an academic degree holder or a professor (or above) under the age of fifty when applying for senior scholar programs.

Application Documents (Chinese or English)

a) Only English or Chinese Application Forms are accepted for the web application. The appliance Form is going to be created automatically after the right filling. The link is http://www.campuschina.org and the agency number (Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Indonesia) is 3602. Instructions of the web application are within the attachment.

b) Copy of Passport Home Page: Applicant shall submit a transparent scanned copy of his/her ordinary passport validly later than March 1, 2022. If the validity of the present passport doesn’t meet the need, please apply for a replacement passport before submitting the appliance. For applicants who cannot apply for

passports before submitting their applications thanks to objective reasons, with the permission of dispatching authorities, they’ll submit scanned copy of identity certificates or official documents containing the applicants’ “English name, Gender, Nationality, Date of Birth” and other information.

c) Notarized highest diploma: Prospective diploma winners must submit official proof of student status by their current school. Documents in languages aside from Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.

d) Academic transcripts: Transcripts in languages aside from Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.

e) A Study Plan or Research Proposal in Chinese or English. (A minimum of 200 words for undergraduates, 500 words for non-degree students, and 800 words for postgraduates.)

f) Recommendation letters: Applicants for graduate programs or senior scholar programs must submit two letters of advice in Chinese or English from professors or associate professors.

g) Applicants for music studies are requested to submit their own works. Applicants for fine arts programs must submit their own works which include two sketches, two color paintings, and two other works.

h) Applicants under the age of 18 should submit the valid documents of their legal guardians in China.

i) Applicants getting to stay in China for quite 6 months must submit a photocopy of the Foreigner Physical Examination Form completed in English (the original copy should be kept by the applicant. the shape is meant by the Chinese quarantine authority and may be obtained from the dispatching authority. The physical examinations must cover all the things listed within the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete records or those without the signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicants are invalid. Please select the acceptable time to require

physical examination because the result’s valid for less than 6 months.

j) Applicants with a Pre-admission Letter from designated universities should enclose the letter within the application package.

Note: The Pre-admission Letter from a Chinese university isn’t a necessary application material. Applications enclosed with the Pre-admission Letter are going to be sent to the host universities for placement confirmation. Applications without the Pre-admission Letter are going to be sent to universities to travel through the admission procedure. For applicants without the Pre-admission Letter, the Chinese Scholarship Council cannot assure the host university is going to be one among the preferences of institutions since the capacity of the schools and therefore the eligibility of the applicants also will be considered.

k) Language ability certificate. Applicants with a valid HSK Certificate (two-year validity), should enclose it within the application package. Applicants with a valid IELTS or TOEFL Certificate (two-year validity), which isn’t mandatory, should enclose it within the application package.

L) Non-criminal record report. The applicant shall submit a legitimate certificate of Non-Criminal Record issued by the local peace authority, usually issued within 6 months before the submission date of the appliance.

Reminder: All uploaded supporting documents must be clear, authentic, and valid. Applicants are recommended to use a professional device to scan the relevant documents. Applicants shall bear the results caused by unclear or unidentifiable uploaded materials. The applications are all completed online as needed, the embassy will not accept paper mailing materials.

How to apply

Scholarship Council Canada has electronic application center, fill in the form and upload your documents. Upon successful application submission, you will receive an acknowledgment and electronic payment receipt. Keep it safe as a reference and wait for the outcome. Scholarship Council Canada team will take care of your further process upon qualifying.
