The Alfred P. Sloan Foundation is delighted to ask applications for The Sloan Research Fellowships are available to students, who hold equivalent position at a university , university, or other degree-granting institution within the us or Canada. so as to use , the applicant must hold a Ph.D. (or equivalent) in chemistry, computational or evolutionary biology , computing , economics, mathematics, neuroscience, ocean sciences, physics, or a related field. the inspiration believes that these fields and the students and practitioners who add them—are chief drivers of the nation’s health and prosperity. The Alfred P. Sloan Foundation makes grants primarily to support original research and education associated with science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and economics.
Eligibility
- Candidates must hold a tenure-track (or equivalent) position at a university , university, or other degree-granting institution within the us or Canada.
- Candidates’ most up-to-date Ph.D. (or equivalent) must are awarded on or after September 1, 2011. Exceptions may apply.
- A candidate must have a letter of nomination from a head or other senior researcher. Submissions unaccompanied by a nomination letter from a senior researcher aren’t accepted.
- More than one candidate from a department could also be nominated, but no quite three.
