Brief description:
Each year, the ARES offers the prospect to pursue a one-year specialised master’s degree programme or a 4-to-6-month advanced training course within a better education institution of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, Belgium.

Level/Fields of study:
Eligible Masters and Training courses within the fields of aquaculture, health, food technology, economics, international development, GIS, information technology, agriculture, environment, human rights, microfinance, etc.

150 Masters Scholarships and 70 training scholarships are available.

Target group:
Nationals of Benin, Bolivia, Burkina Faso , Burundi, Cambodia, Cameroon, Cuba, Ecuador, Ethiopia (only for training courses in English), Haiti, Madagascar, Morocco, Niger, Peru, the Philippines, the DR Congo, Rwanda, Senegal, and Vietnam

Scholarship value/inclusions:
The scholarship covers international travel expenses, living allowance, registration fees, insurance, housing allowance, etc.

Eligibility:
For an invitation to be valid, the applicant must:
1. Be residing and dealing in her/his country of origin when she/he apply;
2. Be nationals of the subsequent countries: Benin, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cambodia, Cameroon, Cuba, Ecuador, Ethiopia (only for training courses in English), Haiti, Madagascar, Morocco, Niger, Peru, the Philippines, the DR Congo, Rwanda, Senegal, and Vietnam;
3. Be under the age of 40 for degree programs, and under 45 for training courses, at the time the training is scheduled to begin;
4. Have earned a diploma like a graduate-level diploma from Belgian university studies. Nevertheless, surely training courses, different requirements could also be requested, which can be specified below;
5. Possess relevant professional experience during a developing country of a minimum of two years after graduate studies, or of three years after their studies if the applicant has earned a post-grad degree from a university in an industrialized country;
6. Have good mastery of written and spoken French. For training courses held in another language, it’s essential to possess a correct level within the course’s language, both written and spoken. We shall insist that the applicant plan to learning French so as to require part in lifestyle in Belgium;
