Scholarship value/inclusions:
The International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (IPRS) provides:
• course tuition fee for 2 years for a Masters by Research and three years for a Doctoral degree; and
• Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the recipient and their dependents for the duration of the award.
• Additionally, all successful applicants will receive an Australian Postgraduate Award (APA) valued at $24,653 (2013 value) for living allowance. This tax-free stipend is indexed annually.
Curtin Strategic International Research Scholarship (CSIRS) provides:
• course tuition fee for 3 years for a Doctoral degree; and
• basic single overseas health cover (OSHC) for the recipient; and
• a stipend like that of the APA once a year tax-free for the duration of your study.
Eligibility:
IPRS – Current and Future Students
• This award is hospitable citizens of a foreign country (excluding New Zealand);
• Scholarships are going to be awarded on academic merit and research capacity to suitably qualified overseas graduates eligible to commence a better degree by research in 2014;
• Applicants must gain admission to be awarded scholarships;
• Applicants must have satisfied English requirements for the chosen course of study by 31st August 2013;
• Not have held an Au said scholarship within two years before commencing the IPRS;
CSIRS – Future Students only
• This award is hospitable citizens of a foreign country (excluding New Zealand);
• Scholarships are going to be awarded on academic merit, alignment with strategic research areas, and research capacity, to suitably qualified overseas graduates eligible to commence a better degree by research in 2014;
•Applicants must gain admission to be awarded scholarships;
• Applicants must have satisfied English requirements for the chosen course of study by 31st August 2013;
• This scholarship is out there to future doctoral students only.
