The name is abbreviated as UAntwerp, because the abbreviation UA should not be used.The ideal candidate will have demonstrable, first-hand experience in Machine Learning for computer vision or for Language Technology (in the Digital Humanities), especially distributional semantics (word embeddings) and representation learning.

All international applicants for whom English isn’t the native tongue must provide proof of competence within the English .

Eligibility:

• You hold a master degree during a field, broadly relevant to Digital Humanities, humanistic discipline , computing , Linguistics, Computer Vision, and/or Machine Learning.
• You can submit outstanding academic results.
• Foreign candidates are encouraged to use .
• You are quality-oriented, conscientious, creative and cooperative.
• You have a superb knowledge of educational English. Knowledge of Dutch or French isn’t required but is an asset for the project.
• The ideal candidate has demonstrable experience during a programing language like Python, and ideally also deep learning frameworks, like Tensorflow or PyTorch.
• The ideal candidate will have a broad interest in heritage, the GLAM sector and/or humanistic discipline . the main target in your teaching corresponds to the tutorial vision of the university.
• Your academic qualities suits the wants stipulated within the university’s policy.
• You are quality-oriented, conscientious, creative and cooperative.
