The EXAF center has launched the initial demand proposals of the ‘100 PhDs for Africa’ program: Outstanding students, who would like to reap the benefits of this fellowship to complete a Ph.D. at an African institution, are encouraged to apply within the EPFL-UM6P’s Excellence in Africa initiative.
UM6P and EPFL have launched the Excellence in Africa initiative (EXAF) to aid the rise of the generation that is next in Africa. This ground-breaking effort aims to boost their research abilities through collaboration with EPFL teachers. It is based on the premise them to heighten their financial and societal impact in Africa that it will contribute to building their job and permit.
The program ‘100 PhDs for Africa’ is one of three pillars associated with the EXAF effort. It’s built to fund engineering and science graduates intending to complete a Ph.D. at an African higher education organization.

Aim and great things about 100 PhDs for Africa system
The Ph.D. applicants benefiting from using this program may be jointly monitored with a teacher of an African organization and also by a teacher that is EPFL. They will conduct their studies that are doctoral thesis research at their property institution, and they will invest brief intervals at EPFL and also at UM6P (summertime and spring schools, workshops, seminars). Their degree will be awarded by their institution in Africa.
Needs for 100 PhDs for Africa Program certification
