Degree Level: Fellowship is out there to pursue a Ph.D. program.
Study Subject: The program will award up to six fellowships in Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, and China in 2021 from among the following:
• Google Fellowship in Computational Neuroscience
• Google Fellowship in Machine Learning
• Google Fellowship in Machine Perception, Speech Technology and Computer Vision
• Google Fellowship in Mobile Computing
• Google Fellowship in tongue Processing (including Information Retrieval and Extraction)
• Google Fellowship in Robotics
• Google Fellowship in Systems and Networking
Scholarship Benefits: Google will award a one-year fellowship consisting of Google Ph.D. Fellowship Program in Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, and China
• US$10K: to hide stipend and other research-related activities expenses including overseas travel. (Please be noted that monetary awards differ by regions)
• Google Research Mentor
• Opportunity to hitch Google global annual Ph.D. Fellowship Summit and covering the travel cost
• Opportunity to use for a paid summer internship (but not guaranteed and not required)

Eligibility: so as to be considered for the 2021 Google Ph.D. Fellowship Program, students must meet the subsequent criteria: Google Ph.D. Fellowship Program in Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, and China
• Full-time graduate students pursuing a Ph.D. within the research areas represented by the fellowships
• Must attend one among the eligible schools and universities. The student must remain enrolled within the Ph.D. program or forfeit the fellowship award
• Must be nominated by their department/university
• Must have completed their graduate coursework within the Ph.D. program and be embarking on or continuing their graduate research within the fall of 2021
• Students who have already received the fellowship from other companies aren’t eligible (but not in conflict with those from the local government).
• Google employees and relations of Google employees aren’t eligible
Eligible Nationality: International students are eligible to use this fellowship program.
Application Procedure: Students might not submit their own applications. Nominations and application materials must be submitted directly by the university. for every student nomination, the university is going to be asked to submit:
• Name of fellowship that student is being considered
• Student CV
• Transcript of current and former academic records
• Research/dissertation proposal (recommended length 4-5 pages, not than 8)
• 2-3 letters of advice from those conversant in the nominee’s work (at least one coming from the thesis advisor)
• All application materials should be in English
Each eligible university is invited to submit a maximum of two student nominations for fellowship consideration. Please be happy to increase your search to students who could also be in another department aside from computing but also pursuing their research within the computational sciences. Note that as long as the fellowship areas overlap, we may choose a special fellowship for your nomination. Nominations and application materials are due May 31, 2021. Committees of distinguished engineers and researchers from within Google are going to be reviewing all applications.
