Scholarship Categories and Requirements for Applicants
The scholarship is split into two categories: full scholarship and outstanding student award.
(1) Full scholarship
The full scholarship is meant for the scholars from ASEAN countries who are to review within the universities of Guangxi for bachelor’s， masters or Ph.D. degree. Recipients of the scholarship will enjoy exemption of such fees as registration, tuition, textbooks and other teaching materials, accommodation, and insurance for diseases and accidents. additionally, they’re going to also get living expenses by month.
(2) Outstanding student award
The outstanding student award is given to the self-funded students from ASEAN countries who will receive their education within the universities of Guangxi for one year or longer and is superb both in moral character and study.
Guangxi Government Scholarship for ASEAN Students Requirements for Applicants
(1) Scholarship for bachelor’s degree: applicants should
have graduated from a senior high school and keep an impressive academic record and aged below 25 years old.
(2) Scholarship for Master’s dgree: applicants should have a bachelor’s degree, and an impressive academic record. they need to be recommended by two professors or associate professors, and aged under 35.
(3) Scholarship for Ph.D. dgree: applicants should have a Master’s degree, and an impressive academic record. they need to be recommended by two professors or associate professors, and aged under 40.
(4)Besides the wants above, applicants should even have a level of proficiency in Chinese needed for taking classes. For those whose Chinese doesn’t meet the requirements, they’re going to be arranged to review within the Chinese language program for as long together an academic year. All applicants must abide by the Chinese laws, regulations, and rules of the schools and be during a health condition.

The application must be made up of March through June annually. The deadline for a full scholarship application is 30th June, and for the outstanding student’s award, the deadline is 10th March.

(1) Documents for a Full Scholarship
(a). 《Guangxi Government Full Scholarship form for ASEA Students》filled call at Chinese or English (see appendix 1).
(b). Authenticated Certificate of highest education and therefore the grade report or the tutorial record.
(c). Study or research plan (Chinese or English).
(d). Recommendation letters by two professors or associate professors (Chinese or English), for Master’s or Ph.D. degree applicants only.
(e). Foreigner Physical Examination Form (see appendix 3).
(2) Documents for Outstanding Student award

(b) the tutorial record for the last term and the HSK certificate.
