Guizhou Government Scholarships for Southeast Asian Students in China, Students from Southeast Asia are invited to use for Guizhou Government Scholarship funded by the Guizhou Government and managed by Guizhou Provincial Department of Education (GPDE). These scholarships are available to pursue doctoral programs, master’s programs, undergraduate programs, vocational training programs, and general scholar programs
The aim of the scholarships is to supply opportunities for Southeast Asia students to pursue study and achieve their career dream.
Guizhou Government Scholarship supports 4 programs: Guizhou Universities Program, Laos-Guizhou Scholarship, Guizhou Government Scholarship for Southeast Asia 2021, and Guizhou China-ASEAN Maritime Silk Road Scholarship.
Course Level: These scholarships are available to pursue doctoral programs, master’s programs, undergraduate programs, vocational training programs, and general scholar programs.
Study Subject: These scholarships are awarded within the subjects offered by the university.
Scholarship Award: These scholarships will cover the followings:
• The full scholarships cover the fee for tuition, on-campus dormitory accommodation, comprehensive medical insurance and protection scheme, etc, and therefore the partial scholarships provide the precise amount of reward.
Number of Scholarships: A total of 1,028 scholarships are available.
• Doctoral Scholarships: 21
• Master Scholarships: 115
• Bachelor Scholarships: 439
• Vocational education programs: 220

Scholarship is often taken in China
Eligibility: the subsequent criteria must be met so as for applicants to be eligible for these scholarships:

For Chinese language learners, senior high school and above education background is required; for visiting scholars, the applicants must be a minimum of a university graduate or enrolled university sophomore or higher, and can study in related fields of study.
• Language proficiency level is subject to receiving universities. English-instructing majors might lower entry requirements on the Chinese language.
• The applicant who is already sponsored by Chinese Government Scholarships won’t be eligible for the Guizhou Government Scholarship.
Nationality: Applicants of Europe, America, and Africa can apply for these scholarships.
College Admission Requirement
Entrance Requirements: Applicants must have excellent academic performance.

How to Apply: Applicants can apply via online mode.
• The applicant who is already sponsored by Chinese Government Scholarships won’t be eligible for the Guizhou Government Scholarship.
• Passport photocopy;
• Highest degree, diploma, certificates photocopy;
• Academic transcripts photocopy;
• Physical examination certificate photocopy;
• Applicants of Doctoral Programs, Master’s Programs or Visiting Scholar Programs should submit 2 recommendation letters from professors or associate professors;
• Study Plan (no but 400 words) or Research Plan (no but 800 words) must be submitted for Doctoral or Master’s course of study applicants;
• Applicants under the age of 18 must submit the photocopy of the valid documents of their legal guardians in China;
• Applicants under intercollegiate exchange program should enclose the agreement copy;
• Applicants with HSK Certificate should enclose its photocopy within the application package;
• Application Documents won’t be returned once submitted;
• Documents within the language aside from Chinese or English must be attached with translation in Chinese or English.
