The Government of the Czech Republic annually offers scholarships within its Foreign Development Assistance Programme. These so-called government scholarships support students from developing countries who would really like to review at public universities within the Czech Republic.
The Czech Republic provides scholarships for studies pursued both within the Czech language (in Master’s study programmes) and within the English (in follow-up Master’s and Doctoral study programmes). Scholarships for studies within the Czech language are granted taking under consideration the list of recommended fields of study, updated consistent with the requirements of specific countries, and also with reference to ongoing development cooperation projects. Applicants also can receive funding for a one-year-long language and preparatory course. Scholarships for study programmes within the English are granted only within the selected study programmes.

SCHOLARSHIPS OF THE SOUTH MORAVIAN CENTER FOR INTERNATIONAL MOBILITY
DURATION: for the primary study year

LEVEL: follow-up Master or Doctoral degree within the Czech language
South Moravian Centre for International Mobility may be a specialized nonprofit organization that gives support to talented students and researchers based within the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic . This scholarship scheme supports foreign students from countries out of the EU who have an interest in Master or Doctoral studies at universities in Brno. Study programmes in technical and science are preferred. it’s expected that applicants will have an honest knowledge of the Czech language as they need to be ready to pass entrance exams at the chosen university and begin studying in Czech. Scholarship applications are accepted until the top of January.

VISEGRAD FUND SCHOLARSHIPS
DURATION: up to 4 semesters
ELIGIBLE COUNTRIES: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia, Herzegovina, Georgia, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia, or Ukraine
LEVEL: Master, Doctoral
The International Visegrad Fund is a world organization founded by the governments of the Visegrad Group countries (the Czech Republic , Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia). The fund operates several grant programmes and also awards individual scholarships, fellowships, and artist residencies.
Visegrad scholarships support Master’s and Ph.D. studies or research stays at universities within the Visegrad Group countries, including the Czech Republic . Applicants must come from the eligible countries listed above and that they can apply for study periods up to 4 semesters. Interested applicants should submit their applications by March 15 annually .

The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport of the Czech Republic annually offers scholarships to foreign nationals within the framework of intergovernmental exchange programmes arranged with variety of nations . Traineeships abroad (work placements, internships) – for a minimum of 2 months but not than 12 months during one study cycle; for college kids enrolled in education within Erasmus+ programme countries and to and from partner countries;
Staff mobility – university academic staff also can apply for teaching mobility and every one university staff for training; within Erasmus+ programme countries and to and from partner countries;
It is possible to understand mobilities even with non-academic organizations, international departments at the schools can always provide information on the choice procedure and options they provide . CEEPUS may be a Central European Exchange Programme for University Studies and it supports regional cooperation within the framework of university networks. Current member countries are Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic , Hungary, North Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, the Slovakia , and Slovenia. Prishtina/Kosovo is additionally participating. Scholarships for study abroad periods of 3-10 months are particularly available for college kids from universities involved within the CEEPUS programme, individual students outside the university network (freemovers) are, however, also considered as eligible applicants.

BARRANDE FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM

The Barrande Fellowship Programme may be a joint Czech-French scholarship programme to support the exchange stays of Czech and French doctoral students. It allows them to travel on short-term placements and doctoral studies under dual supervision, or a “cotutelle”, altogether academic fields. LEVEL: young researchers (usually aged up to 35)
The objective of the fellowship is to support “Czech studies” in both national and territorial delimitation by means of the financing of short-term study stays of foreign researchers at the Institutes of the CAS. The fellowship is meant for young researchers (usually aged up to 35) who got to study the Czech historical, cultural, language, geographic, or natural characteristics within the Czech Republic . Applications for the Josef Dobrovský Fellowships are submitted by the administrators of the Institutes of the CAS after consultation with and on the idea of a recommendation by the Institute Board.
