Korean Studies Association of South East Asia Scholarships in Australia
The UNSW Korean Studies Association (KoSASA) Ph.D. Scholarship Program supports research and educational research collaborations between the University of New South Wales and KoSASA member universities. The scholarship offers outstanding young scholars the opportunity to pursue a Ph.D. at the University of NSW Canberra.
This support will be offered to students of KoSASA member universities to support collaboration in research and education. All domestic and international students who are members of KoSASA are eligible to apply. UNSW Canberra is a member of the prestigious Group of Eight – a consortium of Australia’s leading research-intensive universities ranked 44th in the 2021 QS World University Rankings.

Eligibility
- Be a graduate of a master’s degree from a KoSASA member university or a faculty member of a KoSASA member university with an appropriate master’s degree.
- Meet all admission requirements for the University of New South Wales Canberra, including
- English language proficiency requirements, and have received an unconditional offer of admission to a Ph.D. program at the University of New South Wales Canberra
- Be eligible for an Australian International Student Visa.
- Show off your English skills with the IELTS test.
