How It Works

To be considered for a Limitless Scholarship, you want to apply to NCU, submit an essay, and begin your eligible master’s or doctoral program by Washington’s Birthday, 2021. There’s no application fee for NCU. Recipients are going to be announced by April 2, 2021.
To Get Started simply submit the Request Information form to start your scholarship application. Your essay should answer this question: How will a degree from NCU assist you achieve a goal or dream you refuse to offer up? Applicants are going to be required to submit either a 500-700 word essay (maximum two pages, double-spaced) or a 2-4 minute audio or video file.

Limitless Scholarship Terms & Conditions

February 2021 Northcentral University is proud to supply the Limitless Scholarship. This offer will award five (5) new students a full-tuition scholarship, to follow their dreams in pursuit of a better degree. All new master’s and doctoral students who apply, submit an essay, and begin their program by Washington’s Birthday, 2021, are eligible for this scholarship opportunity. Recipients are going to be notified on or before April 2, 2021. ELIGIBILITY.
• Scholarship applicants must start a replacement master’s or doctoral course of study within the School of Business, Technology, Education, Social and Behavioral Sciences, or Health Sciences.
• Scholarship applicants must submit a Limitless Scholarship essay, video, or audio file by Washington’s Birthday, 2021.
• Scholarship applicants must meet all admissions requirements of Northcentral University. • Scholarship applicants, once enrolled, must not receive or be eligible to receive a complete 100% tuition reimbursement from any source(s) including but not limited to: corporate reimbursement, preferred tuition rate, other scholarships, and/or private Scholarships with the exception of Veteran’s Administration GI benefits, Veteran’s Administration rehabilitation Benefits, military tuition assistance, and Title IV aid funding.
• Scholarship applicant must not be a current NCU student.
• If the applicant must adjust their start date to a date within the following month, the University reserves the proper to permit the applicant to stay eligible and apply for that month’s offer.
• Scholarship applicant must not have vested during a previous NCU program without graduating.
• Applicants to bachelor’s, certificate, and JFK School of Law programs aren’t eligible for this scholarship.
• Dissertation Completion Pathway (DCP) students aren’t eligible for this scholarship. ESSAY TOPIC how will a degree from NCU assist you achieve a goal or dream you refuse to offer upon? ESSAY SUBMISSION AND REQUIREMENTS
• To be considered, applicants must submit a 500- to 700-word (maximum two pages, double-spaced) or a 2- to 4-minute video or audio file (not to exceed 25MB), by Washington’s Birthday, 2021, in one among the subsequent formats: .MOV, .MPEG4, .MP4, .MP3, .WAV. .AVI, .MV4, or .WMV.
• Applicants must submit their essay, video, or audio file electronically at the subsequent URL: www.ncu.edu/limitless by Washington’s Birthday, 2021.
• Essay, video, or audio file must be original work. Quotations or attributions must be cited. • By submitting an essay, video, or audio file for review, you hereby authorize Northcentral University and people acting pursuant to its authority to Use any quotes due to you in printed or electronic material. Use your name, likeness, and biographical material in reference to these quotes. Exhibit or distribute such material in whole or part without restrictions or limitation for any educational or promotional purpose which Northcentral University and people acting pursuant to its authority deem appropriate.
• Just one essay, video, or audio file could also be submitted by an applicant. SELECTION PROCESS.
• The recipient of this scholarship is going to be selected by the scholarship selection committee consisting of representatives from Northcentral University. Non-faculty members may assist within the selection committee process.
• It’s the applicant’s responsibility to submit a completed application alongside all the supporting documentation, which must be received on or before the deadline specified. NCU and therefore the scholarship selection committee accepts no responsibility for incomplete applications, applications not in proper form, lost applications, or the other submission in exception to the instructions.
• The scholarship award is going to be supported by the committee’s approval of the submitted essay, video, or audio file. • Scholarship selection shall not be made with reference to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, identity, age, national origin, disability, veteran status, or the other category protected by federal, state, or local law.
• The choice of the scholarship selection committee is final and not subject to a review process. • NCU and its employees, officers, directors, affiliates, agents, and representatives aren’t liable for any typographical or other errors within the offer or administration of the [scholarship/grant/award], including, but not limited to, errors in any printing or posting of those terms and conditions, the choice and announcement of any winner, or the distribution of any Limitless Scholarship. NCU may correct any such errors at its sole discretion.
• Any necessary determination, or clarification, on the interpretation or to the appliance of a specific term shall be made by NCU at its sole discretion. NCU reserves the proper in its sole discretion to terminate, suspend or make any changes or modifications to the Limitless Scholarship, including, but not limited to, the standards, the choice process, the deadline dates, and therefore the terms and conditions.
• Any applicant suspected of tampering with or disrupting any aspect of the Limitless Scholarship award process is going to be disqualified. All decisions of NCU are final. By participating, an applicant: (i) agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions, (ii) represents and warrants that his or her entry is original and not previously published, (iii) agrees to release, indemnify and hold harmless NCU and its employees, officers, directors, affiliates, agents, and representatives, from any and everyone claims, liabilities, losses and damages of any kind arising in whole or partially, directly or indirectly, from his or her application or acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the Limitless Scholarship, and (iv) grants NCU a sole, worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free, irrevocable, sub-licensable, transferable right to use his or her application, also as his or her name, likeness, voice, biographical information, and statements, for advertising and promotional purposes, in any media now known or hereafter invented, without compensation or notification, except as prohibited by law.
• NCU makes no warranties of any kind, express or implied, with reference to the Limitless Scholarship. Acceptance, participation in, and/or use of the Limitless Scholarship is at an applicant’s sole risk and NCU isn’t liable for any damages whatsoever including special, indirect, or consequential damages arising out of or in reference to the utilization and/or misuse of the Limitless Scholarship.
• NCU isn’t liable for late, lost, misdirected, or unintelligible entries, including entries not received due to interrupted or unavailable network services, failed communications networks or equipment, hardware or software, or other errors or malfunctions, whether human, mechanical or electronic. Should NCU, in its sole discretion, determine that the Limitless Scholarship selection process has been compromised by a virus, bugs, tampering, hackers, or other causes beyond its control, NCU reserves the proper to void suspect entries and/or terminate such selection process and chose the awardees during a fair and reasonable manner from among all eligible entries submitted before termination.
• All disputes concerning the development, interpretation, validity, effect, and enforceability of those terms and conditions are going to be governed by the laws of the State of Arizona without reference to conflicts of law provisions. Applicants agree that exclusive jurisdiction over any action arising out of or in reference to these terms and conditions and/or the Limitless Scholarship is going to be in state or federal courts located in or nearest to Phoenix, Arizona, and by submitting an application, each applicant consents to such jurisdiction and venue. AWARDS • Five (5) Full-Tuition scholarships. • The recipients are going to be notified on or before April 2, 2021. The chosen essays and testimonials could also be posted to http://ncu.edu/tuition-and-admissions/grants-and-scholarships.
• The winners, their submissions, or portions thereof could also be posted to the NCU.edu website and utilized in NCU promotional materials.
• The Scholarship has no cash value.
• Scholarships that are awarded to the recipients may only be wont to assist with the payment of their tuition in an eligible program and aren’t redeemable in cash.
• No student will receive quite one Limitless Scholarship.
• No student will receive quite one offer like scholarships, grants, technology awards, or preferred tuition rates.
• The Scholarship doesn’t include the prices of the training Management Fee (LMF), nor the Course Materials Fee (CMF). Students are still financially responsible to hide the prices of those fees throughout their program. • Any Scholarship funds that are awarded might not be used for the acquisition of books, any fees which will be applicable to their course of study, and door materials (computers, internet service, etc.).
• For applicants using FFA, the applicant understands that a scholarship award is financial assistance and counts toward the student’s cost of attendance. As such, the quantity of FFA available to the scholar could also be impacted. The scholar Financial Services team will conduct a financial review of all Scholarship winners and articulate any changes needed to the respective recipients.
• Any courses accepted as a transfer from another school to an NCU degree plan will only reduce the required coursework required to finish a degree at NCU and cannot end in any additional unused scholarship funds.
• Courses taken under the Scholarship could also be recorded against the student’s civil year 1098-T. MAINTAINING ELIGIBILITY • All existing student policies located within the NCU Catalog must be adhered to while the recipient may be a student at NCU.
• For the duration of the award, students must be succeeding in their course of study. The scholar must maintain a Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) of excellent. Please see the present catalog for SAP definitions. • Should a Scholarship recipient withdraw or be dismissed from NCU before disbursement of all Scholarship funds awarded to him or her, the balance of the schooling funds awarded, but not disbursed, are going to be terminated and cannot be available to the scholar for future courses.
• If a Scholarship recipient withdraws from a course or receives a non-passing grade, the value to retake the course won’t be discounted by the Limitless Scholarship.
• Scholarship funds may only be applied to courses within the recipient’s original educational program following award of the scholarship, except as follows: (1) the recipient opts to transfer to a replacement educational program before completion of 33% or more of the courses within the original educational program and therefore the new educational program is eligible under the terms of the scholarship, or (2) the recipient opts to transfer to a replacement specialization within the first educational program before completion of 33% or more of the courses within the original specialization and therefore the new specialization is eligible under the terms of the scholarship. Scholarship funds aren’t otherwise transferable
