The National Arab American Medical Association (NAAMA) is offering the Houston Chapter Scholarship Program. There are two sorts of scholarships are going to be given; Health Training Scholarship and Health Scholars Award. Each of these scholarships has own requirement as stated below. Applications are accepted around the year. The Houston Chapter established a scholarship award and is inviting applications at this point . the aim of the award is to supply guidance and financial assistance to eligible medical, nursing, dental, pharmacy, osteopathy, optometry, chiropractor and post-doctoral students of Arab Heritage in obtaining elective training at one among Houston ‘s medical institutions.
Eligibility
- Arab Heritage
- Accepted to spend > 3 months at one among Houston’s medical institutions or any affiliated hospitals for research or clinical activities.
- Willing to attend AAMA meetings during the training months in Houston.
- The applicant must indicate a financial need of those funds.
Benefits
Scholarships are awarded 70%-75%
