The Stellenbosch University International is pleased to involve applications from young eligible persons for PhD Scholarships to pursue research resulting in a PhD degree. These scholarships are open for South African applicants funded by Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. This scholarship is concentrated on helping and supporting candidates to the trouble , study and research. The Stellenbosch University International (SU International) may be a support service division within the responsibility area of the Vice-Rector: Strategic Initiatives and Internationalization (SI&I). These scholarships are available to pursue PhD programme and these scholarships are awarded within the field of Historical Trauma, Transgenerational Transmission of Trauma and Related Themes.
Eligibility
- Applicants should have a robust research background, especially in qualitative research methods with a search , Clinical or related Master’s’ degree in Psychology.
- Applicants from other fields within the Humanities and Social Sciences could also be considered.
- Demonstrable research skill and knowledge at Masters’ level in empirical data gathering, especially in qualitative research methods, are going to be ascribed high importance.
