The University of Melbourne is offering an excellent opportunity for international candidates in Australia for the academic year 2021-2022 through the Diane Lemaire Scholarship. This educational opportunity encourages excellence by offering scholarships worth up to $15,000 for Ph.D. programs in the Faculty of Engineering. Founded in 1853, the University of Melbourne is the second oldest academic university in Victoria. It offers different undergraduate, master’s, and research degree programs.

Achieved through a bequest from the late Diane Lemaire, the first woman to graduate from the University of Melbourne with an engineering degree in 1942. The scholarship is available to female Ph.D. students in the School of Engineering and Information Technology for projects or proposals that will enhance the applicant’s Ph.D. and research output.
