Brief Description:
The Outstanding Peacebuilder Scholarship supports individuals committed to peace to develop their knowledge and skills by studying towards a postgraduate degree. It enables recipients to raised contribute to peacebuilding in conflict and post-conflict societies. it’s available for various online postgraduate study programmes which don’t require travel outside of their country.

Target Group:
Any individual engaged in peacebuilding at any level (international, regional, national or local). This includes people engaged in conflict resolution, development work, humanitarian work, early warning, peace education, etc.
Scholarship Value:
50% of the complete tuition fees applicable for the study programme – up to USD 5,700. recipients may pay the remaining tuition fees in up to 3 installments.
Eligibility:
Any individual who meets the minimum criteria to be accepted on the study programme. Applications are ranked consistent with the subsequent criteria: Proven ability to implement activities associated with peace and conflict management during a conflict or post-conflict context; relevance of the degree for career advancement; citizenship of a developing country; low financial resources; no previous studies at the graduate level; years of relevant professional experience; academic excellence. just in case of equal qualifications, female applicants and applicants from Least Developed Countries are going to be considered preferably.
