Brief description:

Essex features a proud tradition of teaching amazing women. the ladies of the longer-term Scholarships are created to support bright and inspirational women from across the world. Thirty scholarships are available to equip women from around the world with the talents and knowledge needed to empower them to become leaders and drivers of change. The scholarships are going to be available to non-UK women for taught Master’s study at Essex for 2017-18.

Full-time Master’s Degree Programme in any area of study, except two of the awards (supported by the sting Foundation) is going to be allocated to students studying within the Department of Sociology.

Graduate Diplomas, PG Certificates, and PG Diplomas are excluded from this award.

Thirty (30)

Target group:

Non-UK Female EU or International students. for 6 of the awards (supported by Santander Universities), preference is going to be given to applicants from the subsequent countries, Argentina, Brazil, Belgium, Chile, China, Colombia, Italy, France, Germany, Mexico, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Qatar, Russia, Singapore, Spain, USA, UAE, and Uruguay.

Scholarship value/duration:

The scholarship is worth £20,000 and can cover tuition fees and a stipend.

Eligibility:

In order to be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  • be a self-funded female EU or International fee-paying (fee status) applicant (please note, recipients of state student loans are considered to be self-funded)
  • be ordinarily resident during a country aside from the UK
  • hold a suggestion of admission from our Graduate Admissions Office for a full-time master’s programme in any subject commencing in October 2017 by the deadline for the scholarship; the offer is often unconditional or conditional.

How to apply

Scholarship Council Canada has electronic application center, fill in the form and upload your documents. Upon successful application submission, you will receive an acknowledgment and electronic payment receipt. Keep it safe as a reference and wait for the outcome. Scholarship Council Canada team will take care of your further process upon qualifying.
