The University of Southern Denmark welcomed the primary students onto its campus in Odense in September 1966. It now has five faculties with quite 32,000 students, almost 20% of whom are from abroad, distributed across its main campus in Odense and regional campuses in Slagelse, Kolding, Esbjerg and Sønderborg. Several international studies document that SDU conducts world-class research and is one among the highest 50 young universities within the world. Research, teaching, communication and therefore the transfer of data at the University of Southern Denmark are grouped into five academic faculties: the school of Humanities, the school of Science, the school of Business and Social Sciences , the school of Health Sciences and therefore the Faculty of Engineering. Exchange and guest students can choose courses from all international degree programmes and extra English-taught courses.
Eligibility
- Applicants must have a robust interest in mathematical statistics and applied mathematics .
must hold a Master’s degree in Mathematics, applied math or Statistics. - Excellent candidates who haven’t yet completed their Master study, but are in good progress will receive consideration. Some programming skills and familiarity with statistical software packages is additionally advantageous.
- Applicants whose mother tongue isn’t English are to supply evidence of proficiency in English at the upper level.
