The scholarship award comes at different levels Well, $500 are going to be awarded to at least one senior male and one senior female from each state. However, the 88 state winners who don’t advance to the national level will still receive a $500 award. At the national level, the 12 nationalist finalists will receive $1000 as a scholarship award. Also, all national finalists who aren’t announced as national winners will get a gift scholarship worth $5000. Finally, a gift worth $5000 are going to be given to at least one senior male and one senior female selected by the judging panel. This selection is formed from the 12 National Finalists. These winners also will receive national recognition during the televised ESPN Heisman Trophy ceremony.
Eligibility
- The Heisman Scholarship makes it very clear that your eligibility starts together with your ability to take care of a particular GPA. Also, it states that to be eligible you want to be a proven leader and a task model in your school and community.
- Hence, this scholarship is for those with a robust academic background and powerful character values.
- Transcript applicants must demonstrate service to others.
- Applicants must possess a minimum of a 3.0 GPA.
