XI’AN – UCLG ASPAC INTERNATIONAL TALENTS EDUCATION PROGRAMME

The Xi’an Municipal People’s Government and the United Cities and Local Governments of Asia Pacific (UCLG ASPAC) have signed an agreement to establish the Xi’an-UPAC. ( International Talent Education Program).

The program promotes educational exchanges between Xi’an and cities and local governments in the Asia-Pacific region by providing opportunities for civil servants to study at Xi’an Jiaotong University. As one of the top ten universities in China and the best university in Xi’an, Xi’an Jiaotong University has been designated to implement the program.

UCLG ASPAC, in partnership with the Xi’an Municipal Government and Xi’an Jiaotong University, established the International Talent Education Program on August 25, 2020.

To promote educational exchanges between Xi’an and cities in the Asia-Pacific region, the Xi’an Municipal Government has launched a scholarship program to fund civil servants from the Asia-Pacific region to study in Xi’an.

Eligibility

  • Citizens of Republic China and Asia-Pacific countries are eligible.
  • Be under the age of 35 for master’s students and under the age of 40 for doctoral students.
  • Diseases prohibited by the Chinese entry-exit inspection and quarantine laws and regulations,
  • Persons in recovery after major surgery or acute disease attack.
  • Severely physically challenged persons

Scholarships are awarded 70%-75%

How to Apply
