Young Conservationist Scholarship Program

Young Conservationist Scholarship Program

The Young Conservationist Scholarship Program highlights the drive of young people associated with BCWF to contribute to the protection, conservation, and enhancement of the environment. We will select up to 25 conservation-minded youth to join our conservation workshops and promote their own conservation projects during this program.

Through the program, the British Columbia Wildlife Federation (BCWF) provides a supportive educational environment for up to 25 selected youth to spearhead their own conservation initiatives or projects in their communities, present their projects at the BCWF annual conference, and compete for a minimum of $1,000 scholarship.

Upon completion of the program, BCWF staff will select a project that exceeds expectations and demonstrates conservation excellence. All other participants will have the opportunity to present a project poster at the AGM.
